Join the LIFE NatuReef Project: Call for Interest now open

Are you managing coastal natural areas threatened by subsidence, erosion, flooding, or biodiversity loss? LIFE NatuReef project invites you to participate in its CALL FOR INTEREST, open until February 28, 2025. PROAMBIENTE is a project partner, contributing its OpenSWAP surface drone.

LIFE NatuReef is a European project aimed at restoring ancient oyster and sabellaria reefs at the mouth of the Bevano River in the Adriatic Sea (Lido di Savio, Ravenna). These reefs are natural "bioconstructions" that provide a range of ecosystem services, including the restoration of underwater habitats, the enhancement of biodiversity, the protection of coastal habitats from storms and erosion processes, with a view to mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Since December 2nd, there has been an opportunity to replicate these innovative solutions for the protection of coastal habitats and join the European network for biodiversity conservation. This is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the protection of our environment!
