CNR BOLOGNA TECHNOPOLE

Physical space and digital infrastructure within the Bologna Research Area, which houses the two laboratories, PROAMBIENTE and MISTER Smart Innovation.

With the POR-FESR 2007-2013 program, the Emilia-Romagna region initiated a program aimed at consolidating the Regional High Technology Network through the creation of 10 Technopoles, each located in a specific territorial area to enhance competitiveness.

Established in 2011 with a total investment of 24 million euros, co-financed by European funds and the Emilia-Romagna region, the Bologna CNR Technopole is animated by two consortium: PROAMBIENTE (Industrial Research Laboratory) and MISTER Smart Innovation (Industrial Research Laboratory, Innovation Center, and Technopole manager).

The Bologna CNR Technopole is an infrastructure that combines expertise, tools, and physical spaces with the aim of connecting research and industry. It promotes innovation in industrial systems across various sectors such as automation, packaging, electromedical, cosmetics, agri-food, environmental monitoring, and remediation. It hosts and organizes activities, events, and conferences. It offers specialized services to help and support innovation for businesses, individuals, and the region.
