Ecosister (Territorial innovation ecosystems - PNRR)

PROAMBIENTE participates in “Ecosystem for Sustainable Transition in Emilia Romagna” project, led by the University of Bologna and which brings together key players of the region. The project intends to support the ecological transition of the economic and social system of Emilia Romagna through a process that involves all sectors, technologies and skills, combining digital transition and sustainability with work and people's well-being and environmental protection .
The main objective of the project, which is based on the innovation ecosystem already created and existing in the region with the involvement of universities, research institutions, laboratories and innovation centers, is to strengthen the capillarity of intervention of the actors, favoring structural strengthening and scaling, and developing and consolidating international collaborations. In particular, the research activities will concern materials for sustainability and ecological transition, production, storage and saving of clean energy, green manufacturing for a sustainable economy, intelligent solutions for mobility, housing and energy for a zero carbon society, the circular economy and the blue economy, the ecological transition based on high performance computing and data technology.
As regards the first phase of Research, PROAMBIENTE is involved in 2 spokes (thematic sections): 4. Smart mobility, housing and energy solutions and 5. Clean energy production, storage and saving.
The next phase is the TTIP - Technology Transfer Innovation Programme, coordinated by ART-ER and with the aim of promoting industrial research as the main driver for sustainable economic development. PROAMBIENTE is involved in the Technology Transfer phase: the start of science-industry relations between regional companies and public research bodies to respond to the technological needs of companies, through the creation of programs and collaborations on specific innovation needs.
